History made at the World Cup: About 200 000 people reached

Jesus is the Head of the Church. It is Gods choice to give His Son this position and it is our joy and honour to all be apart of it.

It's important for us to be focused in life and ministry in doing what Father God has called us to do, but we have to take note that we are building His Kingdom-not ours.

Everything we do and say is ultimately to bring glory to Him and to make Him known.

The saving of souls is our highest responsibility. How tragic it is for a person to go to hell. We need to intercept them from this horrific place. The only way to do this is for them to hear about, learn about and receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

How is this done you may ask? By us preaching and sharing of the gospel.

We have just experienced a great soul-winning month at the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

I believe the Lord wanted to use us to make a great spiritual impact on the tournament and I believe we did.

About 200 000 people were reached by our teams dong personal evangelism at the Stadiums, Fanparks and local malls between 11 June and 11 July.

We personally placed about 200 000 pieces of salvation resources into people hands and shared one on one with those who were not in a rush to get into the stadium.

This included about 155 000 salvation booklets (Welcome to South Africa booklet that I personally wrote, Champions books and thousands that a few other ministries donated to the campaign).

We also helped distributed about 45 000 Kaka testimony DVD's. These were incredibly popular as you can imagine, knowing that Kaka is one of the top soccer players in the world. It was awesome to see him on all the Sony and Adidas adds and then to have us giving out the DVD. The DVD boldly has him sharing for 50 min how he believes in the Lord and that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to God. We personally shared the gospel with thousands of people and hundreds responded to Jesus in different cities we were reaching out into.

CAPE TOWN CAMPAIGN CONTINUES AGAIN THIS WEEK till DECEMBER

Our team once again started this week reaching out to schools and Old Age Homes in Cape Town. We have conducted 806 Cape Town School Outreaches and 90 Old Age Home Outreaches to date.

We have about 200 Cape Town school outreaches to go and about 30 Old Age Home Outreaches.

This is our final push in this great city.

About 460 000 people have decided for Jesus to date here and I believe this great effort will take us to the 500 000 decision mark.

How awesome to think that 1 in 6 Capetonians alone will be believers in Jesus because of this Campaign. We are rejoicing.
